FUNDAYANIM Bolívar, is a non-profit foundation created 15 years ago. FUNDAYANIM was born as an initiative to help those hundreds of canines and felines that are abandoned in the streets of Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela.

We are a group of only 6 people operating this shelter. We are all united voluntarily by our great and unconditional love for dogs and cats. In FUNDAYANIM Bolívar we rehabilitate mostly street dogs that often have wounds and diseases. We provide a safe place, water, food, care and much love to the rescued dogs. We also pray and work hard towards getting them adopted by families that accept them as another member of the family, and treat them with a lot of love and responsibility.
 

Most of the helpless dogs in the streets are in critical conditions, which breaks our hearts to pieces. The will to help street dogs and the repudiation of indifference give us the strength to get up every day in search of bailouts and adopters. We know that their unfortunate situation could be different and we decided with the power of love to change the destiny of the suffering animal.

Dogs are defenseless, vulnerable and totally dependent on humans for their care. A dog in pain, suffering and / or abandonment in the streets is a symbol of human failure and insensitivity, so let's say
NO TO INDEFERENCE!

Dogs and cats are not simply an animals. They are living beings with deep feelings as we humans are. Dogs and cats deserve respect, love, and care. They deserve an opportunity to be happy and rebuild their lives with a family that loves them.
